Joelle has an extensive background in Healthcare Management. She started her career with HonorHealth in 2016 on the Medical Group side, where she ran various offices and worked very closely with PCPs. Subsequently, she took on an abstruse array of responsibilities that transcended population health processes, policies, and objectives. Her key responsibilities were to supervise and train staff in ambulatory referral processes, eligibility classification, and verification of various insurance types; all in support of the organization's Medical Group Primary Care Practices’ goals and objectives. Adept at problem identification, policy analysis, strategy & policy development, and enactment; Joelle created and strategically implemented training manuals that are now used across the network to assist with all-referral processes and partner with ICP and their systems. Given the success of the programs she implemented, she was promoted to Sr. Manager of Operations in the Customer Navigation Center. Her staff consisted of six supervisors, two workforce trainers, and an IT analyst with over 100 employees that directly reported to Joelle.
Prior to relocating to Arizona, Joelle was a Regional Executive Director for one of the most reputable retail companies in the US for almost a decade, her territory entailed 168 locations across the US and 15.6 million in volume. Joelle also owned her own business wherein she worked closely with her father and oversaw a dozen employees.
She is passionate about helping people and strongly believes we all support the exceptional experience of our patients and guests through our various roles.
Outside of work, Joelle enjoys Bikram yoga, biking, painting, exploring Arizona, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Apex is very pleased to have Joelle join us.
